Our MIssion:

The New America School-NM works as an educational community to empower and acknowledge the uniqueness of every learner by creating an individualized pathway to educational and social success.

In 2008, The New America School-NM original charter was approved, and founders located the school within the beautiful South Valley of Albuquerque.  Doors opened for the 2009-2010 school year with 159 students enrolled, ranging in age from 13 to 64.  Since that time, NAS-NM has grown adding several new buildings to accommodate student growth, and developing into a truly lovely campus for students to enjoy as they are supported in their goal for academic success and excellence. We have a tradition of caring, understanding, and working outside the box to meet students and families academic and social needs.

The New America School-NM offers flexible scheduling for students who need to work, or have families to support. We believe in developing individualized pathways for graduation, understanding that every student has unique needs and circumstances that drive their educational career. Whether a student needs a couple of extra years to graduate, or wants to finish early, we find a way for success!
